Abstract
What is it the client idea
Go Wallet is a modern Egyptian digital payment app designed to simplify money transfers and empower users to manage their daily expenses.The app allows seamless EGP transactions between users through various identifiers (username, phone, or QR code), provides secure balance top-ups via saved cards, and offers a rich dashboard to visualize and filter spending data over time. The goal is to deliver a fast, secure, and user-friendly wallet experience tailored to local needs.
Identity Design
The Go Wallet identity revolves around movement, simplicity, and trust. The logo merges the letter “G” with an arrow shape, symbolizing speed and digital transfer, while a subtle wallet shape embedded inside conveys the financial purpose.
The color palette:
#173A48 (a deep navy): symbolizes security, reliability, and professionalism.
#3EA981 (a vibrant mint green): adds a touch of energy, growth, and modern fintech appeal.
This contrast not only ensures visual accessibility but also communicates the blend of tech seriousness and user-friendliness.
Chalenges
- Users often got confused choosing between username, phone, or QR when sending money — leading to mistakes and failed transfers.
- Users had no clear way to track where their money was going, making budgeting difficult.
- Many users were hesitant to use cards without feeling secure, especially during repeat top-ups
Solutions
Transfer Input Confusion & User Errors
Developed a flexible input system that supports multiple ways to set the transfer destination—whether it’s a phone number, username, or QR code. Intelligent hints, live validation, and recipient previews guide the user through the process and help prevent mistakes.
Lack of Spending Awareness
Created a full-screen analytics page with clean graphs and filters by week, month, and year—so users can clearly see where their money goes and stay in control of their spending.
Security Concerns During Top-Ups & Transfer
Required CVV and wallet PIN for every top-up or Transfer, even with saved cards. This added an extra layer of protection without slowing down the flow, making users feel more secure.
